(Heads up I come in at the 12 minute mark)
I'm excited to have been invited on a couple of great podcasts lately. And I wanted to share this one with you, as I really enjoy the angle in which Joe approaches the interview.
Joe Bunting is host of the Character Test Podcast and creator of The Write Practice, an award winning community of writers.
Joe is an old friend of mine. He has worked hard for more than a decade to build a community of writers that practice together and help each other towards their goals. It's been really impressive to see what he has built and how he has grown as an artist and entrepreneur over the years.
He has written several books, including his new book Crowdsourcing Paris. And now he hosts a podcast that has a clever way of approaching stories and people from a more literary perspective.
We cover a lot of topics:
- Taking risks and launching a new career
- Getting my dream job, Host of Epic Trails!
- Learning how to get noticed as a young entrepreneur, to get work, and to get picked.
- Working in Wilderness Therapy, learning to overcome the shame of my divorce.
- Building a non-traditional career that lasts
I'm really glad Joe reached out interview me on this podcast. He's an excellent interviewer and even successfully caught me off guard with one question. If you are a writer or an artist, he has a ton of resources to help you build your career, grow as a writer, and accomplish your goals.
His new book Crowdsourcing Paris, a travel memoir in which his readers gave him tasks to accomplish, is available now!
